TV “MOST IRRESISTABLE WOMEN” LIST –

Spike TV, the new national cable

channel for men, aired its “100 Most Irresistable

Women” special on Wednesday night (August 27th),

and Vivid Girl Jenna Jameson was

the only adult actress to make the cut. Program host

Ice T noted that Jenna is “the

first porn star to be invited to debate at Oxford

University.” Jenna came in ahead of other beauties

such as Jennifer Love Hewitt, Mariah Carey

and Sarah Wynton. Speaking of Spike TV, don’t

forget to watch new Vivid Girl Tawny Roberts

in the premiere episode of the Joe Shmo

-11:00 pm on September 2nd ).

“THE PORN STAR BALL TOUR” ROLLS

UP TO CANADA, THEN BOUNCES BACK TO THE USA

– After a quick hop north of the border for

a special evening in Calgary Sunday night (august

31st) The Porn Star Ball returns to the U.S. on Friday,

September 5th. The ball bounces into Atlanta

at The Riviera (1055 Peachtree St

NE, starting at 10 PM). At this stop on the tour,

Vivid Girls Sunrise Adams and Heather

Hunter will be the judges who will choose

a three female finalists who have with that one-of-a-kind

porn star look, at least for the night. The audience

will then select the winner from among the final three

contestants, with a $750 1st prize and two $125 runner

up prizes. (On August 31st The Ball stops in Calgary

for a Sunday night party at The Whiskey Nightclub

(310 10th Avenue SW, starting at 9 pm). Vivid

Marketing have teamed up to produce the tour,

which is playing to sold-out crowds at top, large-capacity

clubs as it zigzags across the continent.

VIVID IN THE NEWS -- Silverbulletcomicbooks.com,

one of the top Websites for comic book fans, ran an

article about top talent working for Avatar

in the production of Vivid Comix. SilverBullet

notes that Steven Grant and Antony

Johnston are among the top writers on the

Vivid Comix project, which will launch later this

year. The entertainment magazine Time

Out New York carried an article in its

Aug. 21-28 issue about Vivid Girl Jenna Jameson

based on her hosting of the Vivid/Sims Snowboards

presentation in New York City earlier this summer.

Vivid was prominently mentioned as were the Vivid

snowboards.

OBSERVATIONS ON PORN – The

iconoclastic Manhattan weekly The New

York Observer gives The

New York Times a ribbing in the Off

the Record section of its August 25-September 1 issue.

The Observer takes The Times to task over

its failure to identify the subjects of a photo caption

in last week’s Times feature on interactive

adult movies. The Observer notes that The

Times is quick to identify mainstream stars in

any photo it prints, but mysteriously did not do so

with the picture in the Arts and Leisure section showing

two beautiful actresses smooching. “As a public

service, Off the Record’s crack research department

worked for, er, days to determine the identities of

the Arts and Leisure cover subjects: The photo shows

Vivid Video actresses Jenna

Jameson and Kobe Tai from

their new film, Jenna Loves Kobe. The movie

marks Ms. Tai’s return to adult film following

a three-year break. It is also the first time the

two have worked together.” Now that’s
