VIVID’S A STAR IN NEW HOLLYWOOD PIC

– Vivid films are

definitely among the stars of the new Luke

Greenfield movie “The Girl Next Door”

starring Elisha Cuthbert as Danielle,

a former porn star who moves in next door to a nerd

named Matthew (played by Emile

Hirsch). The gala premiere of the new flick

took place Thursday March 4th at Mann’s

Chinese Theater in Hollywood, and among the

celebrities attending was Vivid Girl Sunrise

Adams. She also enjoyed the after party at

The Forbidden City restaurant and

club. Everyone seemed to love the light-hearted movie,

in which there is plenty of footage starring Vivid

Girls Kira Kener and Dasha.

Prominent props in the film include a Vivid cap, which

is worn in many scenes by Eli the

porn freak (played by Chris Marquette),

a magazine layout featuring Briana Banks,

and even shots of Mercedez signing

at the Vivid booth during a trade show.

TERA HEADS FOR SAN FRAN

– Tera Patrick makes her first

appearance in San Francisco as a Vivid Girl

on March 18, 19 and 20. She will be performing at

The Crazy Horse (980 Market Street

San Francisco). The incredibly beautiful Eurasian

actress will be accompanied on the trip to San Francisco

by her husband, Evan Seinfeld, front

man for the rock group Biohazard

(over 3-million albums sold). Evan will appear in

Tera’s upcoming Vivid films. He may be the only

male actor to enter the adult film business after

accumulating truly impressive mainstream credits.

Evan was featured in 40 episodes of the popular HBO

series OZ as prisoner #98H432,

a.k.a. Jaz Hoyt. You can see a bit

more of Tera and Evan in the April issue of Revolver

magazine. Asked by the magazine about moving back

and forth between mainstream and adult acting, Evans

says: “This (adult scenes) will be a lot easier

than OZ because I’m making love to my wife.”

SNOWBOARDING HAS NEVER BEEN "NICE'

– The Vail Daily,

a newspaper serving the Colorado mountain resort,

has been publishing multi-part series on the history

and future of the sport of snowboarding. The very

first article mentions the Sims Fader

series of snowboards, which feature the Vivid

Girls. Reporter Cindy Cleh

notes that the image on one of the Vivid boards shows

“porn star Jenna Jameson in

a, well, let’s just say suggestive pose.”

She asks, “Where is snowboarding headed?”

and answers her own question by observing that next

season Sims will sell a topless version of the Fader

boards (featuring the Vivid Girls, of course). Writes

Cleh: “Snowboarding has never been ‘nice’…

In its infancy, snowboarding wasn't welcomed at many

resorts, which viewed the sport as radical, unkempt

and undesirable.” The Vivid/Sims snowboards

may not be ‘nice,” but they are selling

like snow-cones in August for a sport that has become

hugely popular in the U.S. and Europe.
