TERA & NEW YORK MAGAZINE ---

Vivid Girl Tera Patrick is a

hometown girl as far as New York Magazine

is concerned. The editors chose her to be interviewed

in connection with the publication of Timothy

Greenfield-Sanders' new book, XXX:

330 Porn-Star Portraits, in which

Tera is featured. Reporter David Amsden

called Tera "an articulate nurse turned porn star"

and she in turn gave no-nonsense answers to his

questions. "Be honest--is a book like this just

a way for the intellectual class to look at naked

people?" he asked. "Absolutely!" replied Tera.

She also noted that Greenfield-Sanders was "so

excited and passionate" when he took photos of

her for the book.

TERA AND SAVANNA SEE THEMSELVES IN GIANT

PHOTOS ---Vivid Girls Tera Patrick

and Savanna Samson were among

the celebrities on hand to see giant prints of

photographs by famed photographer Timothy

Greenfield-Sanders. The difference between

them and luminaries like Calvin Klein,

Lou Reed, John Waters,

Ben Stiller, Christine

Taylor and Barry Levinson

was that their photographic portraits were actually

on the walls of the Mary Boone Gallery

in Manhattan during an exhibit launch party Saturday

night (October 30th). The "XXX" exhibit is of

photos of adult entertainers shot by Greenfield-Sanders

for his XXX: 30 Porn Star Portraits

coffee-table book that also gave birth to an HBO

documentary in which Vivid Girls are featured.

The invitation

to the YRB "Duos" issue party in Manhattan Nov. 17th features Vivid Girls Savanna Samson and Tera Patrick, who will host the event.

SAVANNA AND TERA TO HOST YRB PARTY

---Vivid Girls Savanna Samson

and Tera Patrick will host the

celebratory release party for YRB magazine's "Duos"

issue on November 17 Manhattan. They are featured

in the main pictorial spread for the bi-monthly

urban magazine. The Vivid Girls disclosed what

profession each would have chosen if not for XXX

acting. Savanna said she would have pursued her

original ambition to become a ballerina (she is

classically trained), and Patrick would have continued

to work in the medical profession as a nurse.

In addition to the girls, the YRB party will also

feature lots of Vivid schwag, including Vivid

condoms, Herbal Vivid virility supplements and

Vivid T-shirts. The party is by invitation only

at 7 p.m. at Club Show (135 West 42nd St.) and

the club opens to the public at 10 p.m. YRB, which

stands for Yellow Rat Bastard, takes its name

from the street-savvy fashion store in New York

that spawned the magazine.

TERA'S AN XCITEMENT COVER GIRL

---The November issue of South Florida's leading

adult entertainment magazine Xcitement

features Vivid Girl Tera Patrick

on the cover and in a super-hot eight-page pictorial

spread inside. "Everyone agrees that Tera Patrick

is a breathtakingly beautiful girl, but put it

back in your pants, because there is so much more

to her!" says Xcitement's Cindi Loftus, who adds

that she's "intelligent, articulate, opinionated

and in love!"
