VIVID EARNS PHENOMENAL 102 AVN AWARDS NOMINATIONS -- The Vivid Entertainment Group and its contract actresses, production talent and partners have received an unprecedented 102 nominations in the 2005 AVN Awards competition. The New Devil in Miss Jones broke an individual record, gaining 19 nominations, the most ever for a feature film. They include a Best Actress nomination for Savanna Samson, who plays Justine Jones, and Best Director of Paul Thomas, and Best Non Sex Role for Georgina Spelvin. Other major nominations include Best Video nods for Drive and Lexie & Monique Love Rocco and Best Film nodes for The Devil, Emotions, Last Girl Standing, Les Bitches, Sentenced and The Villa. The Vivid record is all the more remarkable since AVN says 13,588 titles were released during the eligibility period.

MEN’S HEALTH OFFERS SAVANNA’S BEDROOM TIPS -- Men’s Health magazine calls on Vivid Girl Savanna Samson for advice on some puzzling sexual etiquette issues. In the “Malegrams” section of the December issue of the magazine Savanna addresses the situation of “Your clothes. Won’t. Come. Off” in the heat of passion. “Lighten up,” Savanna advises. “You don’t stop being sexy just because your shoes are stuck. It’s just entertainment. If it bothers you, plan ahead with an easy-to-unclasp belt, a pullover shirt, and loafers. But remember: Women don’t want to see a guy act like a stripper anyway.” Her answer to the question “She’s not ready. You are.” Savanna says, “It doesn’t mean she’s not turned on. It can be caused by any number o f things—medication, dehydration, lack of foreplay. Keep a supply of individuals packets” of lube handy.

THE NEW DEVIL IS “SMOKING HOT” -- There are more rave reviews for The New Devil in Miss Jones. Adult DVD Reviews is out with its commentary on the No. 1 film. Reviewer R.D. GenX makes no bones about his opinion: “The freaking sky could have been falling, and my main focus still would have been on the smoking hot content found on this 3 DVD set.” GenX says Vivid Girl Savanna Samson, playing Justine Jones, “gives, in my opinion, her all time best ACTING & SEXUAL performance. She’s made many adult movies before, but none with a performance as powerful as this one.” The Devil, played by Vivid Girl Jenna Jameson, says GenX, Iis excellent as usual and gives a naughty edginess to her role.” He also says that the bonus DVD packaged with the main film “is jammed packed with some of the best bonus material I’ve had the pleasure to peruse on an adult disc or set.”
