SAVANNA’S THE TALK OF THE TOWN --Vivid Girl Savanna Samson was the talk of the wine world this week. First there was a major front-page story about her in The New York Times Fashion-Style section on Sunday. The article focused on the introduction of Savanna’s sensational new wine, a 2004 vintage Italian red wine called Sogno Uno (Dream One) that has already received an outstanding rating of 90-91 from famous wine critic Robert M. Parker. In commenting on the creator of the wine, Times reporter Warren St. George said: “Savanna Samson is a porn star, and a noted one at that. As a Vivid Girl, one of the actors whose work is produced and marketed by the goliath Vivid Video, Savanna Samson is a porn celebrity. She is the star of 25 sexually explicit films, a two-time winner of the Adult Video News Award for best actress, and her work with Jenna Jameson in "The New Devil in Miss Jones," a remake of a classic, won last year's award for the best all-girl sex scene. But what sets her effort apart from the vanity wines of other celebrities like Madonna and the Rolling Stones is that it is good — extremely good if the wine expert Robert M. Parker is to be believed.” Savanna hosted a launch party for the wine at hot restaurant La Masseria, attended by more than 200 wine aficionados, VIPs and media. She also appeared live with Dan Abrams on the MSNBC Abrams Report program and was interviewed by assorted radio, TV and print reporters. Of the wine, Mr. Parker told The Times, “It was really opulent and luscious and it had a personality.” Savanna was also on Page 6 of The New York Post on Friday, with picture. The item mentioned The New York Times article and the party at La Masseria and added that “porn aficionados needn't despair: Samson, a former Scores stripper… flew out to L.A. yesterday to film her latest X-rated opus, ‘Savanna Has Been Blackmaled,’ for Vivid Video. We can only guess what the title means.”

TERA COVERS BIZARRE -- Vivid Girl Tera Patrick is on the cover of the current issue of the British lads magazine Bizarre with a headline heralding her as “Super Vixen.” She gets “hot and sweaty” in a pictorial inside the magazine that’s an homage to Tera and a tribute to famed director Russ Meyers. The layout begins with a giant headline reading: “Tera in the Valley of the Ultra Vixens: Hollywood’s number-one glamour goddess recreates the cover shots of sexploitation supreme Russ Meyer’s finest trio of films.” The story and playful photo layout show her dressed to mimic the models in the covers of his most famous movies, “Ultra Vixens,” “Russ Meyer’s Super Vixens…Feast on It” and “Russ Meyer’s UP!”

STEFANI CLASSES UP “SLEAZE” -- Inside the issue of Bizarre on sale now in the U.K. is a satirical magazine-within-a-magazine called “Sleaze” with Vivid Girl Stefani Morgan on the cover and in a four-page pictorial and interview. The headline reads: “Stefani Morgan Denies Everything.” She and the interviewer have a lot of fun in the tongue-in-cheek interview and pictorial, much of which is spent clarifying what Stefani says have been erroneous facts printed about her.
