VIVID GETS NEW T’S AND NOVELTIES FROM ICUP, INC -- Vivid has signed a licensing agreement for apparel and novelty gifts with ICUP Inc., the hot licensing and distribution firm that represents major brands such as Family Guy™, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, AC/DC and Kiss among others. ICUP will launch the new product line officially at the MAGIC Marketplace Show in Las Vegas August 28-31 with special appearances by the famous Vivid Girls, who will sign autographs and pose for snapshots. ICUP is creating a variety of products, including a range of colorful T-shirts for men and women with provocative legends as well as a variety of fun gift items including a puzzle, a card game and barware. The T-shirts include messages such as “Porntastic” and “I Only Watch for the Dialogue.”

MONIQUE TO SPARK UP COUPLES’ SEX LIVES -- Vivid Girl Monique Alexander has been tapped by Men’s Health magazine to give tips on how couples can spark up their sex lives. One good way, she says, is to watch adult films together. They’re good as turn-ons and are filled with great ideas for new positions and techniques. Monique was interviewed recently for the article, which will appear in an upcoming issue. She’s also featured in the current issue of Genesis Magazine and is the cover girl of the August issue of Xcitement magazine.

JACKtheZIPPER JOINS VIVID -- Multi AVN Award-winning director JTZ has joined Vivid. JTZ is known for his creative and uncompromising film work, and his cred includes being kicked out of art school, working as a tattoo artist and touring around the world as a musician. About joining Vivid he says, “I like to make movies that are talked about and Vivid is attractive to directors with a distinct vision.” JTZ’s first movie, “Stuntgirl,” won Best All Sex Release, Best Scene at the 2005 AVN Awards, which also recognized him as Best Director of a Non-Feature. His movie “Squealer” won the 2006 AVN Best All Sex Release, Best Oral Sex Scene and Best Group Sex Scene awards in the video category. One of his first movies for Vivid will be a highly ambitious space fantasy using top talent “including the Emmy Award-winning CGI wizards who worked on such films as “Return of the Jedi” and “Hellboy.”
