SAVANNA HOSTS NEW YORK CITY PARTY AUGUST 9 TH -- Vivid Girl Savanna Samson and irreverent comedian "The Reverend" Bob Levy will co-host a release party for her newest release, " Stood Up ," on Thursday, Aug. 9 at Ultra (37 W.26th Street) in New York City. The evening begins with a private party from 8 to 10 p.m. for invited guests. Then the hot Club Ultra will be open to the public starting at 10 p.m. and both Samson and Levy will sign complimentary Stood Up DVDs and be available for photographs. Levy is best known for his appearances on " The Howard Stern Show " and his co-hosting duties on " Miserable Men ," both found on Sirius Satellite Radio . Directed by B. Skow, " Stood Up" is the embellished life story of Levy and features Samson as his evil agent. Savanna is also appearing on TV and radio shows in the U.S. and abroad to promote the movie.

VIVID COVERAGE IN "THE BLUE ROOM" - The current issue of The Blue Room feature on DVDTalk.com includes items on several Vivid titles. Writing of "the growing library of quality of Vivid Ed products" The Blue Room says that " Tristan Taormino's Expert Guide to Oral Sex: Cunnilingus " is a great tool for teaching "men and women the skills of satisfying a lady with oral pleasure in such a manner that she will keep coming back for more rather than just a bunch of unrelated sex scenes of dubious merit to your social developmental training." Finally, this issue of The Blue Room remarks, " You have to hand it to porn companies for naming their works like ' I Love My Ass .' " Noting that director Paul Thomas is famous for his big budget productions the article adds that "some of his best titles are the smaller, more intimate looks at human sexuality. His latest such project is ' I Love My Ass ,' a set of four vignettes where ass play (though not always anal sex) was prominently displayed before the partners went at each other using some chemistry and energy, providing the kind of scene the company has been shooting for more of late."

HARDCORE SPORTS LOVES VIVID GIRLS - Last week it was Vivid Girl Kayden Kross on " Hardcore Sports." This week it was Vivid Girl Monique Alexander who was interviewed on the Sirius Satellite Radio program heard on Channel 186. Monique was quizzed about her life as a Vivid Girl and her most recent movie roles in features such as " Debbie Does Dallas...Again " and " American Dream ."

DAVID PESKIN NAMED VIVID NATIONAL SALES MANAGER -- Veteran adult industry sales executive David Peskin has been named National Sales Manager for Vivid Entertainment Group and will represent the company to the trade at Pulse Distribution, LLC . David succeeds Howard Levine, who shifts his responsibilities to the ClubJenna label, which is distributed by Pulse under a Vivid/ClubJenna agreement. Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch says David "is an industry insider who has great forward-looking enthusiasm and vision. He has built many strong bonds on behalf of Vivid and is respected by everyone in the industry."
