MEGGAN MALLONE IS NEWEST VIVID GIRL -- Meggan Mallone , a Texas beauty of Cherokee extraction, is the newest Vivid Girl. The slender, green-eyed brunette is 5'8' and is a former high school cheerleader. With her all-American good looks she worked as a mainstream fashion model in Houston before she decided to visit L.A. and was invited to pose for such glamour photographers as Steven Hicks and Earl Miller . She met her agent John Stevens at that time. He showed her photos to Vivid director B. Skow and shortly thereafter she was signed by Vivid, where she is already at work on her first-ever movie. Meggan's mother -- a full-blooded Cherokee from Oklahoma -- gave her the Indian name "Moonstar." Meggan says her Irish-German father, who died when she was 18, instilled in her a strong work ethic and taught her to make her own decisions. The one-time high school journalist had dreams of being a famous ice skater when she was young. Today she jokes, "Maybe I could be the first nude, ice skating star in the adult industry." .

XCRITIC GIVES "SUNNY EXPERIMENT" A RAVE - Xcritic critic Don Houston says Vivid Girl Sunny Leone 's newest feature, " The Sunny Experiment ," directed by B. Skow is "the perfect example of a Vivid team-up that people love to see." Houston singles out B. Skow for proving that "his skill went beyond just bringing out the best in gals like Lanny Barby and Monique Alexander , working his magic on Sunny in similar fashion. The result was a superior effort on the part of all those involved with the movie, bringing Sunny Leone to new heights as she prepares to start doing men in the months to come. The technical matters were well done, the extras nicely fitting (using bonus scenes relating to the women of the cast, even if not shot specifically for this release is a compromise I can live with), and the strokability elevating the replay value and levels of f*ck for the buck made this one I can give a rating of Highly Recommended to. In short, The Sunny Experiment was a success thanks to both Sunny and director B. Skow, making me hope he will be allowed to apply his approach to the rest of the contract stable sometime soon. Great work!"

MONIQUE ALEXANDER WRITES A SEX-ADVICE COLUMN -- The first sex advice column by Vivid Girl Monique Alexander has been posted on the magazine section of intimate dating and relationships website AdultFriendFinder.com . The column was formerly written by Vivid Girl Savanna Samson . Monique exhibits her diverse range of talents in her first column, where she combines her knowledge and openness regarding sexual pleasure with heartfelt advice towards maintaining relationships. She instructs a husband about how to convince his wife to wear a collar to express their dominance and submissive lifestyle. "I know as a woman I hate it when my partner tries to pressure me into something that I'm not ready for. I automatically shut down and don't want to do it at all." She then gently offers real-world advice: "You should make it seem more like a fantasy of yours. Make it like you want to role-play... The bottom line is, the more you push it, the less chance you're going to have of making it happen, so give her a chance to digest it and hopefully your fantasy of her wearing a collar will become her fantasy as well."

VIVID AT YALE NEXT WEEK - Vivid plays a big role in Sex Week at Yale ( http://www.sexweekatyale.com ) in New Haven , Connecticut next week. On Friday, February 15 Vivid Girl Monique Alexander teams up with Ron Jeremy to debate Craig Gross and Donnie Pauling in what's being billed as " The Great Porn Debate " moderated and televised by N ightline ABC , with host Martin Bashir . Gross is a minister with an anti-porn mission and Pauling is a former porn producer who started the XXX Church . It takes place at 8:30 pm at the LoRicco Ballroom (and seating is limited). Saturday, February 16 has been declared " VIVID DAY." Steven Hirsch , co-founder and co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, will lecture to graduate students at the Yale School of Management on " The Business of Pornography: How Vivid Made it Mainstream " at 4:30pm. And then at 7:30 pm in the Law School Auditorium Vivid Girls Monique Alexander and Savanna Samson , along with director Paul Thomas , participate in a panel discussion and Q&A with students, and screening of Vivid films to illustrate their points. Finally, at 10:30 pm Vivid hosts the " Skull & Boned Party " at The TOAD . A Vivid DVD will be given to each guest and there will be a contest called " Who Looks Most Like a Vivid Girl " to be judged by PT, Monique Savanna.

EON MCKAI AND VENA VIRAGO AT "LACE" - Vivid-alt head Eon McKai and director Vena Virago will be part of the " LUST4LACE " show on Valentine's Day in Westwood , California . Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE) is celebrating its 30 th anniversary on February 14 th with a revival of its "infamous Valentine's Day benefit bash." Tickets are $10 for the show, which begins at 8 pm and goes 'til last call. LACE is at 6522 Hollywood Boulevard .
