TAORMINO'S "CHEMISTRY" IN PORNOTOPIA FILM FESTIVAL -- The Vivid-Ed movie "Chemistry" from director Tristan Taormino has been selected for the 2nd Annual PORNOTOPIA Film Festival. The Festival is a project of Self Serve, a sex-positive sex toy store and resource center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The AVN Award winning movie will be screened on Saturday, November 15. Molly Adler and Matie Fricker, co-founders and co-owners of Self Serve, have selected independent erotic films that celebrate sex in all its fun, healthy, tender, raw, and real beauty. Selections were made with the help of a twenty-member screening committee. Over 70% of the movies are made by women filmmakers. "Pornotopia is a celebration of quality erotic film. PT Directs Sex Comedy "Nurse Monique" -- XBiz reviewer lav Kandyba says the sex comedy "Nurse Monique" from Vivid director Paul Thomas has "a plot that puts a twist on that of a quirky mainstream comedy." Kandyba outlines the story succinctly: " Monique is a married nurse living in a small town who enjoys the porno series Dr. Dick. After she witnesses her husband 'literally f*cked to death' over a case of 'stolen booty,' Monique packs up and leaves for Pornoland to seek the help of Dr. Dick, played by adult performer Nick Manning." In an interview for the XBiz story, Thomas says the feature starring Monique Alexander "is related to a mainstream movie, 'Nurse Betty.' I ended up shooting a quirky short hand.
