SHAUNA SAND EXPOSED UPDATE -Vivid has announced it will delay distribution of Shauna Sand Exposed while its lawyers and a handwriting expert counter a "cease and desist" letter sent by Ms. Sand's attorney.

Attorney Brooks J. Holcomb, who represents Sand, send a “cease and desist” letter to Vivid, warning, "the video is private property and was not created or intended for sale or public distribution."

He threatened a lawsuit if Vivid did not call off its plans to sell the video starting Oct. 19 and demanded that the studio "produce any legitimate, written proof of Vivid's asserted rights" to distribute it.

Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of Vivid-Entertainment, dismissed Holcomb's claims. But, he said Vivid would delay distribution of the video, probably for one week, while its lawyers responded to Holcomb and a handwriting expert verifies that the signature on a release form granting rights to the video is demonstrated to be authentic.

Meanwhile, Steven says he’s been “pretty overwhelmed by the enthusiasm (to Shauna Sand Exposed) at this point and we want to release it as soon as possible. I think we'll be able to do so as I still feel confident that all of our papers are in order and we have the right to move ahead with distribution. In an overabundance of caution our lawyers have asked us to delay the release until they have dealt with the claims of Mr. Holcomb and Shauna Sand."

SAVANNA DOES “30 ROCK” -- Vivid Girl Savanna Samson made her mainstream, television acting debut on NBC Thursday (Oct. 22) in an appearance on the award winning comedy series "30 Rock." Savanna has won AVN awards for her acting abilities and sex scenes, and her latest Vivid movie is "I Was a Teenage MILF." But her first foray into primetime TV started her off pretty much at the top, with an appearance in a “30 Rock” episode. Wearing a black wig, Savanna plays the role of "Porn Liz," a spoof on the real Liz Lemon/Tina Fey character. Said Savanna after the shoot: "It was amazing. I was surprised at how well received I was. How cool of Tina Fey to use the real Savanna Samson.

Everyone was so sweet to me. It was an honor, especially since I've admired Tina for years on 'Saturday Night Live' and I love what she's done with this series." She added: “I didn’t resemble Tina Fey at all but once I got in wardrobe and they dressed me like her with my boobs busting out, and put the hair and the glasses on, well I still didn't look like her, but I got it. The hair and makeup guys described me as the Barbie version of her, which was the ultimate” In writing about the appearance, XBiz noted: “Throughout her entertainment career Samson has proven to be somewhat of a renaissance woman. She’s a singer (her single “Kiss Me All Over” was released by Koch Records), an author (she co-wrote “How to Have a XXX Sex Life: The Ultimate Vivid Guide”) and a vintner (her wine, Sogno Uno, an Italian red, was rated a 91 from wine critic Robert Parker).”

XTREME MAGAZINE GETS A “SHOT OF AJ BAILEY WITH SOME SCOTTISH CREAM” – Vivid Girl AJ Bailey is on the cover of the October issue of Xtreme Magazine. There’s an inside story about AJ and an interview with her titled “A Shot of AJ Bailey with Some Scottish Cream.”
