VIVID'S PEEK AT WOODS' SEX TAPE CAUSES A STIR - When TMZ reported this week that Vivid co-founder Steven Hirsch said that a woman approached him with a sex video of Tiger Woods, media around the world were all over the story. Websites, newspapers and blogs ranging from The Huffington Post and CBS.com to the New York Daily News and Post, to TheHollywoodGossip.com and hundreds more jumped on the story, adding fuel to the Woods fire that shows no sign of cooling off. In a curb-side interview with TMZ.com, Steven said that a woman approached him with a sex video of Woods that she claims was shot two years ago. Steven said he has seen a 30-second clip of the video, but won't confirm Tiger's identity. Most of the stories reprised earlier coverage of Vivid's offer of up to $1-million to any paramour of Tiger Woods who will star in a Vivid film and provide details and an explicit look of what Tiger experienced.

VIVID GIRLS STAR AT AEE - Vivid Girls Savanna Samson, Sunny Leone, AJ Bailey, Nikki Jayne and the newest member, Lia, make personal appearances through Sunday, Jan. 10th at booth #5001 at the Adult Entertainment Expo at the Las Vegas Sands Expo and Convention Center.

The Vivid Girls will meet with fans, sign autographs and pose for photos each day. On Saturday mainstream crossover actresses Kelli McCarty and Shauna Sand-Lamas, both of whom star in movies being distributed by Vivid-Celeb, will be signing at the booth from 1:30-4:30pm.

The 2010 AEE marks the first public appearance for Lia, the newest Vivid Girl. She is already a web sensation with millions of followers of her www.lia19.com site. Her first movie for the Vivid, "Lia's First Time," will be in stores on Jan. 26th.

XCRITIC SAYS WATCH VIVID IN '10 -- XCritic.com, the adult movie review site, has named Vivid Entertainment as THE studio to watch in 2010. XCritic Editor Chris Thorne writes this week: "It might come as a surprise to many that Vivid Entertainment is our pick for The 2010 Studio to Watch For. Vivid is one of the oldest and most established adult entertainment companies out there. So why are they ones to watch in 2010? Vivid spent a good part of 2009 refining its focus. It took to heart fan feedback and shuffled around its stable of contract performers. Creatively Vivid signaled a new direction and gave B. Skow the reigns on a number of key projects." The XCritic staff also selected Vivid Girl AJ Bailey as a "Breakout Artist to Watch," and chose her first movie, "The AJ Bailey Experiment," as one of XCritic's Top 10 DVDs of the past year. Director B. Skow "has seemingly transformed the landscape of Vivid overnight," XCritic reports.

In awarding Vivid-Ed's "Rough Sex", directed by Tristan Taormino, the #11 spot among DVDs for the past year, editor Thorne notes, "the movie helps dispel myths about what women enjoy, how rough sex can work for all sorts of people and how the company (Vivid) has expanded its vision to give fans what they want."

XCRITIC GIVES 'HIGHLY RECOMMENDED' REVIEWS TO VISIT FILMS -- XCritic, the adult movie review site, has given its coveted "highly recommended" tag to three recent Vivid movies: Sexquake, Bounce 2 and the Vivid-Teravision release, Desperate. Reviewer Don Houston says Sexquake, starring Nikki Jayne, earns especially high marks because of its director: "B. Skow has the best track record as a director at Vivid Entertainment than any of the company's long time staffers over the years, his works bringing them into the 21st century as far as I'm concerned. The sex was plentiful and heated... clocking in at nearly four hours of hardcore smut with all the tease I could have hoped for, all the comedic dialogue my gal pal wanted, and all the Nikki Jayne any of us could have hoped for, the movie was another clear sign that Vivid is listening to fans and critics alike." Reviewer Dr. Jay says, "Desperate is a very satisfying and well-acted couples-friendly feature by veteran director Paul Thomas in which delectable Tera Patrick plays a sweet girl who is "desperate" for a little hard-core sex. It is the first of Teravision's releases in cooperation with Vivid Video. Of Bounce 2, reviewer Houston says: "Bounce 2 by director B. Skow for Vivid Entertainment had a tremendous amount of tease, large natural tits on parade, and strokability the way that only Skow seems able to provide... if you are a fan of Hanna Hilton, there was more Hanna f*ck for the buck than any other release on the market so consider this a "must have" if you're an admirer."

VIVID HOSTS SHAUNA PARTY JAN. 21 AT RICK'S CABARET IN NYC - The buzz in New York City is building about a party on January 21st for Shauna Sand-Lamas hosted by Vivid at the top Manhattan gentlemen's club, Rick's Cabaret. The gorgeous Playboy model, TV actress and ex-wife of Lorenzo Lamas of E! Entertainment's "Leave it to Lamas" reality TV shows will use the party to celebrate her decision to let Vivid Entertainment distribute her personal sex video Shauna Sand Exposed. She will meet and greet her new fans, pose for snapshots and sign complimentary DVD copies of her movie. Rick's Cabaret-NYC is located at 50 W. 33rd St. between Fifth Avenue and Broadway. The party will be held Thursday, January 21st from 6-8pm, with open bar and free hors d'oeuvres from 6-7pm.

SUNNY LEONE TO HOST 2010 XBIZ AWARDS -- XBIZ SAYS Vivid Girl Sunny Leone has been chosen as a co-host of its 2010 XBIZ Awards, taking place at the legendary Avalon Hollywood on Feb. 10th. Her partner will be adult star Teagan Presley. XBIZ says Sunny was chosen because she is "among the industry's highest profile performers." Responding to her invitation Sunny said: "I can't believe I was asked to host the show, I had to contact [XBIZ] back to make sure they had the right person "It's a great honor and I can't wait to do it. 2010 is definitely off to a great start for me." Says XBIZ President and Publisher Alec Helmy: "Besides being absolutely stunning, Teagan and Sunny exude glamour and class.
