SHAUNA SAND-LAMAS TAKES MANHATTAN -- She's a gorgeous Playboy Playmate, a TV actress and the ex-wife of Lorenzo Lamas of E! Entertainment's "Leave it to Lamas" reality TV show -- but next week Shauna Sand-Lamas does her part to promote her personal sex video, "Shauna Sand Exposed," which is being distributed by Vivid Entertainment. BUZZ BUILDS FOR VIVID PARTY AT TOOTSIE'S DURING SUPER BOWL WEEK - Reservations are piling in for Vivid's all-night party on Friday, February 5th at the peak of Super Bowl week Vivid is teaming up the Rick's Cabaret International, Inc. to throw the party at Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami -- believed to be the largest gentlemen's club in the United States. Tootsie's is part of publicly traded Rick's Cabaret (NASDAQ: RICK), which operates upscale gentlemen's clubs around the country. Hosting the party will be four Vivid Girls: Savanna Samson, AJ Bailey, Sunny Leone and Monique Alexander. STEVEN HIRSCH IN VANITY FAIR AND ON ASYLUM.COM - Vivid founder and co-chairman Steven Hirsch is mentioned in the February issue of Vanity Fair. The article by James Wolcott entitled "Schtuppin' with the Stars" is about celebrity sex tapes. Writing about the Carrie Prejean solo sex tapes Wolcott got his facts wrong when he wrote: "Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of the porn colossus Vivid Entertainment, which acquired the tapes and sought to distribute them to adult-video stores across America's troubled mini-malls, popped up on TMZ and similar hallowed broadcasts..." Vivid did not actually acquire the Prejean tape as her mother said "no."
