‘FUNNY OR DIE’ MEASURE B SKIT IS HUGE – A satirical “thank you” from the porn industry to L.A. voters for passing Measure B from comedy website continues to draw worldwide attention more than a week after it was posted. The video, which imagines adult actors wearing virtual hazmat suits, also features a mocking “interview” with Vivid chief Steven Hirsch. The video has become one of the most popular on and has been re-posted by thousands of websites around the world. As the Huffington Post wrote when re-posting the video: “Steven Hirsch has a very special message for the voters of Los Angeles County. In this video for Funny Or Die, the founder of porn company Vivid Entertainment has just one thing to say: ‘***** you.’ Yes, Hirsch is technically saying ‘thank you.’ But this satirical video shows just how Measure B, a voter-approved mandate to require condom use in adult films, is going to drag the porn industry down.

”Woven around the “interview” with Steven, is a skit featureing porn stars Veruca James, Steven St Croix, Michael Vegas, Bailey Blue, Penny Pax and Ian Pfaff.  L.A. Weekly reporter Sarah Fenski wrote about it, saying,  “If you're among the 56 percent of L.A. County voters who said yes to Measure B earlier this month -- thereby ensuring that performers in the adult film industry will have to rubber up before acts of intercourse -- Funny or Die has a message for you: You're ruining porn. Check out the video embedded below, which imagines a world in which porn is regulated much like OSHA regulates ordinary workplaces. Guess what: It's not particularly sexy.”  AVN reported that the video “would probably have had more of an impact if it had been released before the election. But with a lawsuit against the measure already in the works, it can't hurt to keep LA County voters laughing at the stupidity of requiring adult performers to wear rubber gloves and face shields—which is just what ‘Thank You From the Porn Industry’ succeeds in doing. The safe-for-work video features Vivid Entertainment Group CEO Steve Hirsch explaining how Vivid goes ‘the extra mile’ to protect its performers not only from STDs, but from all types of workplace injuries that could occur during a sex scene—and hey, they've even hired an expert to make sure the actors are following all the rules.”

Fans should pickup the March 2013 issue of Esquire Magazine, in which both Steven, director Axel Braun and Vivid publicist Jackie Martin will be quoted on subjects ranging from Measure B to free porn sites.

VIVID WOULD “LOVE” AN EMMA STONE SEX TAPE – Popular website says “Emma Stone, America’s Sweetheart, the golden girl with the raspy voice, TAYLOR SWIFT’S BEST FRIEND, has a sex tape.” It is described as “vintage” and was apparently made before she became famous when she was “something of a wild child.”  And, the website reports: “Vivid Entertainment, the reigning champ of sex tapes, told Hollyscoop they have yet to be approached with the tape but would love to get their hands on it. ‘We think Emma Stone is incredibly popular and beautiful and any sex tape with her would be a best seller for Vivid,’ says founder/co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment, Steven Hirsch. A source close to the actress revealed that Emma would be ruined if it got out, “There’s no way she would organize the release of the tape,” says the insider, “If fact, she would fight to stop it. She has no respect for women like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton who became famous because they released a sex tape.”
